This figure is number one. Talent depends on the amount of work performed. Yes, some people have a predisposition to art and achieve results faster, but I go my own way, through a large number of works with constant quality improvement. From simple to complex. And I'm sure everyone can do the same. When I see how many people draw better than me, I think that there are even more people who draw worse. And that's okay.

There is no shame in talking about this subject. (this is a painful question for me, because I grew up in such an environment where they said that the artist is always hungry). Money is not the main goal. The amount of money is only an indicator of your success. I never draw for money. It's the same as prostitution. I paint for fun, and selling my painting is only proof that it has value.

To become famous, you do not need to have special skills (see YouTube), in the creative field this is most relevant. But I study academic painting because I have to become a processional. It is my choice.

I refuse to work to order. I'm sorry, but in order to learn how to draw, I found a quiet job in a big company (I'm a warehouse worker). Thanks to this, I pay all the bills and find time for painting. This of course slows down the learning process, but at this stage there are two problems:
1. I have to paint for money and I don't want to.
2. My level is not high enough because I am studying

For myself, I determined that the speed of drawing is important. I want to learn how to draw quickly, so I admit carelessness and unfinished work. This applies only to the educational process. I gradually increase the quality and complexity of the work. I will slow down this insane speed at the end of the lerning.
